Winter is here for the most part, or so I hear. So much warmer here. A lot of rain, but plenty of nice days too so far. People here don’t get still in the winter. They seem to relish having things back to the “off season”. Which really means a lot less tourists. The Sea is colder and harsher but still good days out there too.
I’m still trying to figure out how to be still. Seems the less there is to do the more the mind takes you down a rabbit hole. I hear this is a common affliction, whew!
Learning to be quiet and still can be pretty challenging, especially when we struggle. My boat used to be a place to go to be busy and help my mind quiet down a little. But it came with a 10 hour drive from Montana. Now it’s 5 minutes away, and we’re both happier. But I definitely need the still days, we all do.
