Been doing boat work lately and just enjoying the area. Rainy day today. The sound of the rain on the deck relaxes me for some reason. It also means I can’t enjoy the sunshine and have to wear a raincoat. I’ve always enjoyed the seasons and in Montana it meant long, cold winters. I think I’ll like the wet winters here although everyone here says I’ll get tired of it. Isn’t that the case with everything! I just remember, without all the rain it wouldn’t be so Green. And I love the Green!
I was at Seafair in Seattle last week watching hydro boat races and the Blue Angels. Started out rainy, then by afternoon it was a beautiful sunny day. They even had a trick plane racing a boat. Never thought I’d see that!
Change is good for us. Keeps the brain firing. Even change that we don’t know we need or even want. It usually happens without us seeing it coming, kinda a surprise of sorts. It evens things out I think. Sometimes it’s in the form of how you like your coffee, and sometimes it’s a complete life do-over. Either way it’s not a bad thing. So enjoy (if it’s possible) the rain, the sun will come out again!
Wishing you fair winds and following seas.
