Life is such a trip, as we all know! Just when u think things are going your way or it’s turning around it goes another direction. Sometimes a good direction, and sometimes bad. We’ve all been there or are there. Definitely keeps it spicy! When you look back your old troubles seem smaller
When I start to spin out and get overwhelmed with negative feelings, I look around. I look around at people struggling with a handicap, mental struggles, grief, homelessness, the end of a relationship, and remind myself how lucky I am. Often if I just hold something in my hand or even soak in a fond memory, I’m reminded of how the simple things are the most important.
Like the ability to jump on a plane and get a father/daughter fix.
We are great at overthinking and complicating the hell out of life, but reminding yourself of how lucky you are to have those simple things, makes life so much easier. To your health!
