The newish world

So I’m in eagle Harbor on Bainbridge Island for the week.  The pace is pretty slow like most places around here.  A little more Seattle ferry traffic so you get some odd ducks, but not bad.  If I get too much I just stay on the boat.  So peaceful and quiet.

I remember walking into a convenience store and seeing bottled water for sale for the first time.   I thought, who the hell would ever buy a bottle of water?   It comes out of the tap for free!   I also remember when plastic grocery bags came out.  I loved them because I could hang one off of each wrist full of groceries and still ride my motorcycle home.   I know, not safe.   But I was also wearing flip flops and no helmet,  college!

And then the internet! And it keeps coming, always will.

As the world changes we get to choose what we embrace.  I try to be open minded and embrace all of it, mainly because it’s much easier to just figure it out than battle everything.   So much more peaceful.

Some of it I just smile and nod.  My thoughts are my own!  lol.

Fair winds and following seas, Jeff
