Peace and solitude

I recently read a quote from Jim Carey.  It goes something like this.   “Solitude is dangerous.  It becomes addictive once you realize how peaceful and calm it is.  It’s like you don’t want to deal with people anymore because they drain your energy. “

I get that, I’m living it.  But, I hope it’s a passage to a better life.  Being your own best company is ok while you heal from whatever ales you, but then get on with it.  

Don’t wind up being that old guy mumbling over his beer!   And if every sad song you hear seems like it was written for you, red flag!  Be the old guy that really wants to learn to paddle board.  Or maybe wind surf!
