Yesterday I took a four hour cruise to Port Ludlow. The Sea reminded me it was in charge as I entered Admiralty Inlet off of the Straight of Juan de Fuca. The seas were 5 to 6 feet and a small craft advisory was in effect, but my “pay attention” ears were off. My bad. Needless to say shit went flying all over the boat for about an hour. And I got a little queasy for the first time ever! Sea sickness can get anyone apparently. And then, just for fun, a squall came through. lol.
But then, Port Ludlow. Calm, warmish, and peaceful. Have never been that happy to pull into port!
I was reminded, again, that you never know what’s storm is coming your way in life. But peace and calm can be right around the corner.
Fair winds and following seas!, Jeff
