Is boating worth it?

As everyone has heard, the best day two days of boat ownership is the day you buy it and the day you sell it. I couldn’t disagree more. Buying it was a great day for Megan and I. And now I don’t know what I’d do without it. It’s a totally new experience for me to not really have a bottom on whay I’ll spend to make it mine and to keep it going. The experiences and memories I have so far and the ones I’ll make are priceless. Can’t imagine where I’d be without the boat and the Sea in my life right now.

We all have our “thing” that thing that makes our lives worth living, as we get older especially. My pa’s “thing” was being free in Montana. As I’ve mentioned, he had no love lost for Washington or the Ocean. And if he was alive today I don’t think the urge to turn to the Sea would have ever crossed my mind. But life happens and you go where it and your heart takes you. Pa gets it I’m sure!
